Clouds forecast over most parts of Oman

Muscat: There will be reduced visibility due to fog formation and chances of dust clouds with temperatures varying from 13 degrees Celsius in Saiq to 33 degrees in Ibri, Nizwa, Ibra, Rustaq and Haima.

The temperature will be 27 degrees in Salalah, 28 degrees in Masira, 29 degrees in Suhar and Sur, 30 degrees in Muscat, 31 degrees in Khasab and 32 degrees in Buraimi.

According to the Oman Meteorology Department's forecast, “Advection of medium and high clouds over most of the Sultanate with chances of isolated rain. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along coastal areas of Oman Sea and over South Al Sharqiyah, North Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates. Chance of dust rising over desert and open areas of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates.”

“Winds will be southeasterly to easterly, light to moderate over most of the Sultanate and occasionally fresh over Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates,” the forecast added.
