Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has pointed out that a lot of rumors are currently being circulated on social media about a number of new cases of Coronavirus in a number of wilayats in the Sultanate. MOH has confirmed that all these are not true.
A statement issued by the ministry of health said: "A lot of rumors are currently being circulated about the presence of a number of new cases of Coronavirus disease in Salalah, Barka, Al Mudhaibi, Al Musannah and a number of other wilayats of the Sultanate."
"We would like to inform you that all of this is incorrect except for what is officially published by the Ministry of Health." the statement added.
The Ministry has called on everyone not to cause panic in the society, and to stop paying attention to the rumours, and to take the correct information from its official sources.
