Muscat: US President Donald Trump tweeted in Hindi, after landing in India on Monday.
US President Donald Trump arrived in the western city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat — the home state of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi — on Monday, kicking off a whirlwind 36-hour visit to India.
In one of the tweets in Hindi, Trump says, "This is just the beginning. We will realise the dreams of our people, make them richer and their future more secure."
In another tweet in the same language, Trump says, "I and the First Lady have come here after travelling more than 8,000 miles. US loves India and respects India. And Americans will always remain a true and trusted friend of India."
