Muscat: Residents of Buraimi saw the largest amount of rain in the Sultanate between October 16 and 17, said the Ministry Of Regional Municipal And Water Resources (MRMWR).
A statement read, "Muhadha saw the most rainfall with 32 mm of rain, followed by Sohar and Rustaq with 30 mm and 29 mm each. Madha, Seeb, Amerat and Bidbid saw the least amounts with 1 mm each."
Eleven wadis in Oman flowed during this period due to rainfall. Of these, only Agran in Muhadha saw fast currents of water, the statement added.
