Ministry of Health has urged people to avoid overuse of medicines and instead drink more water to keep kidneys healthy.

The officials at the ministry said that maintain your kidneys by drinking enough water and not to overuse of medicines.

“Everyone should know that the main function of the kidneys is to remove wastes and excess fluids from the body through urine. This is not all; the kidneys also perform various other functions such as secreting hormones that regulate blood pressure.” – Ministry of Health

They also added that kidneys regulate the production of red blood cells, produce the active form of vitamin D, which promotes strength and bone health.
