Donald Trump announces first to visit India

US President Donald Trump will visit India from February 24 to 25 to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The President and First Lady Melania Trump will make the trip to strengthen the United States-India strategic partnership.” - White House statement.
Trump will visit the capital New Delhi and the western state of Gujarat, the home state of the Indian Prime Minister.
India's new US envoy, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, touted cooperation and trade relations between the two countries.
