Oman Air flight makes precautionary landing

Muscat: Oman Air has announced on Sunday morning that its flight WY 154 from Zurich to Muscat experienced a cabin pressurisation fault while in flight.
This required our aircraft to take a pre-cautionary landing at Diyarbakir, Turkey, which was completed safely.
Guests on board this flight are currently being accommodated in local hotels in the Diyarbakir area.
Oman Air will be dispatching a replacement aircraft to Diyarbakir, Turkey departing Muscat later this evening at approximately 20:00 hours (local time) to repatriate the delayed guests back to Muscat.
Oman Air explained that its airports team are currently working with local authorities in Diyarbakir, Turkey to look after its guests and ensure a swift and safe return of passengers to their destination.
Oman Air regrets any inconvenience this may have caused. It affirmed that the safety and welfare of its guests and crew top its priority. Further updates and flight information will be published on Oman Air’s official social media channels and through its contact centre.
