One arrested for impersonating police officer

An Omani man has been arrested for impersonating a police officer and robbing an expat in Al Ghubra.

“The suspect stopped an Asian man in Al Ghubra in the wilayat of Bausher, said that he was a policeman and asked him to hand over his personal documents. The suspect then forced him to ride in his vehicle, and then stole his wallet" Royal Oman Police.

The suspect was referred to the judicial authorities for investigation in preparation for his presentation to the court.
