Expats arrested for illegally selling alcohol in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has raided several sites that stored and sold alcohol illegally in Muscat and South Al Batinah governorates.

According to the Directorate General of Customs in ROP said: “The Department of Investigation and Risk Assessment, in coordination with the competent authorities, raided a number of sites that stored and sold alcoholic drinks illegally in the governorates of Muscat and South Al Batinah, and arrested expats with possession of large quantities of alcohol."
