U.N. General Assembly observes minute of silence in mourning

The General Assembly of the United Nations observed a minute of silence by standing in mourning for the demise of His Majesty, the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

This was revealed by Oman’s Ministry of Education.

UNESCO extended its deepest condolences to the Royal Family of the Sultanate of Oman, its Government and its people.
