Muscat: The King of the Netherlands has arrived in Oman to offer condolences to late Sultan Qaboos bin Said, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).

ONA said in a statement, “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said received at Al Alam Palace His Majesty Willem-Alexander, King of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the accompanying delegation who were present in Oman to offer condolences to late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.”

“His Majesty King of Netherlands during his meeting with His Majesty the Sultan offered the most sincere condolences and sympathy in this great affliction, while His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the king and the accompanying delegation for their sincere condolences,” ONA added.
