Knowledge Oman appoints Dr Baby Sam Saamuel as vice chairman

Muscat: Knowledge Oman, the multi-award-winning knowledge-sharing platform in the Sultanate, has today announced the appointment of Dr. Baby Sam Saamuel, as its new Vice Chairman, as part of the organization’s 2020 plans of delivering enhanced programs, extended partnerships and brining about sustained growth, specifically aimed at the betterment of the society.

Dr. Baby Sam Saamuel is an award-winning leader & mentor with two decades of cross-functional expertise, specialized in turnaround & strategic management. His top management experience cuts across corporate businesses, non-profits and social enterprises, in diverse fields such as technology, media, education, youth development & community welfare.

“I am honored to be taking on the role of Vice-Chairman and l look forward to work closely with the Board and the executive management team to further grow the organization into greater heights that would benefit the society as a whole” said Dr. Sam.

Dr. Saamuel currently leads multiple organisations: he is the General Manager of InterTech LLC and Business Designer for Trifoil Advertising & Publishing SAOC and Chairman of the Board of Indian Schools in Oman - a network of 21 Indian Schools across Oman. As the Founding President of Anjappam Charitable Trust, a social enterprise organization functional in India, he is well versed with non-profits & social enterprises.

He is also a member of Advisory Boards of various higher educational institutes within & outside Oman, including member of Standing Committee (Academics) of the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), Government of India. He is also a speaker, writer and recipient of various recognitions including the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Samman Award.
