More than 100 patients successfully evacuated from Salalah hospital

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the completion of the transfer of patients in Dhofar Governorate.
"The process of reallocation of patients has been completed at the Cardiac Surgery Center at Sultan Qaboos Hospital and Salalah Armed Forces Hospital," MoH said in a statement.
"Fifty six (56) patients from critical care and preterm infants were transferred to the Cardiac Surgery Center. And 54 patients transferred to the Armed Forces Hospital in Salalah," MoH added.
Additionally, the Directorate General of Health Services of Dhofar announced that Awqad hospital remain open for another 24 hours.
The directorate said: "Based on the weather forecasts of the tropical situation Luban, the Directorate General of Health Services of Dhofar Governorate decided to operate the Awqed Health Centre for 24 hours from today (Friday)."
