Movies and shows to watch in the coming weeks

Royal Opera House - Upcoming Performances
Vienna Classical Players

The Viennese waltz is said to be the oldest form of the waltz and the first ballroom dance performed in a closed hold position. The name, Johann Strauss, is almost synonymous with this art form as this Austrian Romantic composer contributed some of the most famous waltzes, and popularized them throughout his time. This was thereafter carried forward by his sons. Heirs to such rich traditions, The Vienna Classical Players, recreate the same cheerful elegance in a true Viennese ambiance. This performance will be conducted by Martin Kerschbaum with the special participation of Martin Breinschmid, and two different concerts will be presented with music from the Strauss family, Franz Lehàr, Leroy Anderson, Karl Michael Ziehrer and Johann Schrammel. The dancers will be four couples from the Weiner Staatsballett.
Dates : 30th and 31st December, 2019

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The movie revolves around how the surviving Resistance faces the First Order. Elements of power and knowledge from the prequels are seamlessly incorporated in the storyline, and the key characters (Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron) portray their parts flawless as the Star Wars saga comes to an end.
