Five arrested in Oman for theft, drifting

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested two people in North Al Batinah for drifting. In another case, three people were arrested on charges of theft.

In a statement issued online, ROP said: “ The police command in North Al Batinah Governorate arrested two people on charges of drifting and disturbing public comfort.”

The legal procedures are taken against them.

“North Al Batinah Governorate police command arrested three people for robbing from commercial stores in three different cases,” ROP added.

The legal procedures are being completed against them.
