Must-have winter wardrobes

Winter is so much more than just layering to stay warm. Here are 8 must-haves for the season that’ll make sure your winter wardrobe is keeping up with the latest fads.
1 Turtlenecks
There is just something about turtlenecks that scream winter. Though black and white are evergreen, you can also go for colours like beige, maroon and purple.
2 Oversized denims
Denims always make their way into every list, right? That’s because they’re just so dynamic. This winter, the trend is bulky, cropped denim jackets. Comfortable and fashionable – what else could we ask for!
3 Monochromes
Like the idea, but ‘all in the same colour’, is not your style. Pick your favourite colour and pick a different hue for each item of your attire. If you’re trying this trend for the first time, try to stick to pastel shades. It looks classy, and there are lesser chances of you going wrong with it.
4 Flashy footwear
Contrary to the above on monochrome attires, when it comes to footwear, we’re talking neon. It makes sense though because when we’re layering fleece leggings and bomber jackets to keep the cold out, the only thing we can play with is our shoes. We suggest anything that is loud enough to draw all attention to the feet.
5 Flowy coats
Go for a few sizes larger than your regular if you want to sport this trend. Another trend is the flowy, armless capes that were big on the catwalks. It’s a versatile piece of garment and can be easily styled over any dress.
6 Puffy sleeves
Puffy sleeves were a huge hit in 2018 and 2019 showed this trend wasn’t going anywhere. And it’s not just for summers. Bright sweaters with puffy sleeves sprang up in different high fashion boutiques, proving that this trend can be sported even in winter.
7 Faux silk skirts
It’s just chic. And you can wear it to work, to a dinner or just whenever you feel like you want to add that little extra to your outfit. Opt for mid-length printed skirts and pair them with your favourite stilettos for that ultimate classy look.
8 Sweater dress
Dresses don’t have to go out of fashion in winters. As long as you look and feel cosy in them. This is exactly why long-sleeved sweater dresses are such a favourite. Depending on the length, you can pair it with knee-high boots.
