SalamAir announces direct flight to Thailand

Muscat: Spreading its wings to Southeast Asia, Sultanate’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, SalamAir, has announced direct flights from Muscat to Phuket, one of the world’s finest tourist destination. With the launch of Phuket direct services, SalamAir has entered Thailand, a popular destination among passengers from the Sultanate of Oman.

Scheduled to commence from December 24, 2019, the new link will initially operate three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing Muscat at 4:00 local time and arriving in Phuket at 13:00 local time. The flight will depart Phuket at 13:45 local time arriving in Muscat at 17:15 local time.

Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir said, “We are delighted to enter Thailand, a very promising destination for us, given the fact that Oman is a large tourism source market for this popular Southeast Asia country. This new route demonstrates our commitment to continually expand our network.
