Rescue operations in full-swing as heavy rain lash Oman

Muscat: Several commuters were rescued from their stranded vehicles in wadis as heavy rains lashed many parts of Oman on Sunday.

The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA), managed to rescue

six people who were trapped inside their vehicle in Al Khubayb wadi in Dhank.

“Currently, we are dealing with a number of rescue operations,” PACDA added.

Air depression Thujaj has wrecked havoc in many parts of the country.
