More than 11,000 new water connections in Oman

Muscat: More than 11,000 people in Baushar area will receive water connections, Diam, the Public Authority for Water, has announced on Thursday.

In a statement issued online, Diam said: “We are proud to inform the completion of water network in some areas in the state of Bawshar, which will benefit 11,500 beneficiaries.”

“Diam announces the completion of new water connections in the areas of Al Awabi, Falaj Al Sham, Sanab, Al Hamam Al Jadeed schem, the commercial district of Bawshar, Bowsher Heights Phase I, II and VI and Ghala Heights 4, 5,6 in Bawshar in Muscat Governorate.”

“Diam urges customers to consult the Customer Services Hall in Baushar to submit applications for water supply with their documents which include: Request for delivery of water service approved by the municipality, Copy of Building Permit and Building Completion Certificate for non-residential applications, Copy of ID, copy of ownership and survey and Copy of electricity bill,” the statement added.
