CCED inks pact to support fish market project in Mahout

Muscat: In line with this commitment, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and CC Energy Development (CCED) to support the fish market project in the Wilayat of Mahout.
Through this MoU, CCED along with its partners in Blocks 3 & 4, Mitsui E&P Middle East B.V. and Tethys Oil Block 3 & 4 Limited will support the project that serves the citizens of the wilayat.
The agreement was signed by Dr Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and Walter Simpson, managing director of CC Energy Development.
Commenting on the agreement, Walter said, "We strive to meet the needs of the local community through the implementation of projects and in cooperation with the government and civil authorities in the region. This project will serve a large segment of the community because of its strategic location in the wilayat.”
CC Energy Development (Oman branch, CCED) is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company operating in Oman since 2007 committed to being part of the community within which we operate. Its corporate social responsibility programme encompasses its employees, contractors, government and local support projects in and around operating areas in Oman.
