Two persons arrested in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested the driver of a vehicle as well as a bike rider in Dakhiliyah Governorate on charges of displaying, drifting and disturbing public comfort.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: “Al Dakhliyah Governorate police Command has arrested the driver of a vehicle on charges of displaying, drifting and disturbing public comfort.”

A bike rider was also arrested on the same charges and legal action was taken against them, the ROP added.
