Low clouds, fog in many parts of Oman

Muscat: The weather stations in Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhyliah, and North and South Al Sharqiyah governorates are showing an increase in relative humidity with fog formation and reduction in horizontal visibility to less than 1000 meter, Oman’s Public Authority for Civil Aviation said on Thursday.

PACA said: “ The aerial picture shows the prevalence of low clouds and fog in governorates of Al Buraimi, Musandam, Al Dhahirah and parts of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Dakhliyah and the presence of medium and high clouds in rest of the governorates of the Sultanate with the continuation of chances of heavy rainfall, and thunders, during the coming hours.”
