Adam-Thumrait road opened

The Ministry of Transport has opened a 27km portion from Adam-Haima-Thumrait dual carriageway for traffic.
This portion adds up to the 93km portion of the first part, which opened earlier this year.
By this, the ministry has completed the first and second part of the project which is 240km, the Ministry of Transportation has revealed.
“Traffic safety measures have been established in the road, such as road floor paintings, traffic signboards, concrete barriers, iron fences and iron wire fence in crawling sands areas.” - Ministry of Transportation
