Fisheries investment, marketing prospects seminar to kick off in Barka

Muscat: The Fisheries Development Department in the Wilayat of Barka in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, in cooperation with the Directorate General of Fisheries in the Governorates of North and South Al Batinah will organise a seminar on 'Fisheries Investment and Marketing Prospects' at Al Sawadi Resort under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Braiki, Wali of Barka.
The seminar will include a number of lectures and presentations, such as a lecture on investment opportunities in fishing harbors in the coastal wilayats of the Governorates of the North and South Al Batinah. It will be delivered by specialists in the Ports Department of the Directorate General of Fisheries in the Governorates of North and South Al Batinah.
The seminar will also include a presentation on the development experience of the fishing harbor in the Wilayat of Barka. The Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (RIYADA) will present a lecture on the prospects of innovation in fisheries SMEs.
The seminar will be accompanied by an exhibition, which will be attended by a number of government and private institutions and individuals in the Wilayat of Barka.
