Muscat: Thousands of expatriates are queuing up at gold stores today, as India celebrates Dhanteras, which is considered an auspicious time to invest in gold.
The occasion also marks the start of the Hindu festival of Diwali.
“Dhanteras is a gold buying festival, and this year we are rewarding our customers with more gold on their purchases today,” Anto Ignatious, Regional Manager – Oman of Joyalukkas, said.
