Sayyid Asa’ad, Shinzo Abe hold talks to boost ties

Tokyo: Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan received yesterday at the state guest house at Akasaka Palace, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.
The meeting exchanged cordial conversation on a number of issues of concern and the historic relations between the two countries and ways of their further enhancement in the various spheres.
The meeting was attended by Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy, deputy prime minister, personal advisors of the Prime Minister, assistant to Prime Minister and first deputy to foreign minister.
Omani delegation
From the Omani side, the meeting was attended by the members of the delegation accompanying Sayyid Asa’ad. He is accompanied by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al Busaidi, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Japan, Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisor at the Office of Sayyid Asa’ad and others.
