Hefty fines for violations in public parks and beaches

Violations in public parks may cost you more than OMR 200 in fines.

According to Muscat Municipality, Barbeques in parks and at beaches is prohibited and violators would be fined OMR 100.

Moreover, leaving garbage at the unspecified location would also attract a fine of OMR 100.

There is also a fine of OMR 20 for spitting in public areas.

The Municipality's rules also include a ban on dogs, bikes and the playing of football at these places.
