Speaking exclusively to Times of Oman, the Sri Lankan actress said, “I have been to Oman this year. It was my first time. It is beautiful, one of the most beautiful countries I have actually seen. It’s got scenic mountains, and it was really, really fun, and the place at which I stayed was also really lovely.” The Sri Lankan-born model and actress, who is also the brand ambassador for high street retailer Splash, was in
Dubai to attend the brand’s autumn-winter 2019 fashion show on Friday.

Asked whether she would consider returning to Oman to shoot a film in the future ahead of the fashion show, she said: “Yeah, I think it would be great. They are genuinely nice people actually, very friendly, and I think it would be a great place to shoot.” “I was in Oman earlier for Filmfare Oman, and the drive from the airport to the hotel took about an hour and we passed through a really beautiful landscape. I have never seen such scenery in the GCC and the next time I go to Oman, I will definitely try and do a bit more of the touristy things,” she added.

Regarding the brand, she said: “Splash does a lot of work in terms of giving back and sustainable fashion. They are a big inspiration, and I am extremely proud to be working with such a brand. There are brands that people want to be working with, and that really matters to me.”
Raza Beig, Director of Landmark Group and CEO of Splash said: Jacqueline is “Young, vibrant, happy, and has all the qualities that the brand ambassador needs.”
