The president of the Oman Society for Human Resources (OSHRM) said that its fifth annual conference — which will take place from 10 to 12 December 2019 — hopes to raise the standards of HR management to benefit companies and people working in Oman.

Dr Ghalib Saif Al Hosni, president of the Oman Society for Human Resource Management said, “We are proud to represent a community of professionals seeking to raise the standards of human resource management.

“To help organisations in Oman steer a new world of work place that requires vivid changes in human resources management strategies, the fifth edition of OSHRM annual conference will inspire and educate attendees with modern and innovative strategies for creating a vibrant workplace culture.”

“Forum will cover topics such as latest business transformation insight, innovative HR technologies, strategic employee engagement, best HR practices, changing workplace environment among others,” the statement added.

The conference, this year, will take place with the help of Nama Holding Group, which has made HR and Omani talents a vital part of its mission, with a 94 per cent Omanisation rate on the group level.
