Muscat: A woman onboard a vehicle which was drifting in a Wadi in wilayat Izki since Tuesday night has been found dead, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.
ROP said in a statement: "The missing woman was found dead, and her body was shifted by the police to Nizwa Hospital and the process of handing over the body to her relatives is underway."
On Tuesday night, the Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) announced that a vehicle carrying three passengers was found drifting in Wadi Shabik in Al Dakhiliyah governorate. While two were rescued by citizens, PACDA's water rescue teams had started a search for the woman passenger.
