Muscat Municipality raids two houses in Muscat

Two houses used by expat workers as illegal tailor workshops have been raided by Muscat Municipality.

The raid resulted in the municipality seizing 17 machines used illegally to make clothes inside a house, which violates municipal regulations for small businesses.

According to Article 115 of municipal law, residential buildings may not be used to set up manufacturing businesses or warehouses.
