Three arrested in Oman for impersonation and robbery

Muscat: Three people have been arrested for impersonating police officials and robbery in Batinah region.

The three accused had broken into the living quarters of workers at a farm in Al Batinah, pretending to be police officers, and then stole valuables from the workers.

In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police said: "Police Command in North Al Batinah arrested three people on suspicion of using force to commit theft and impersonation of police officers after they broke into a farm house.”

"Legal procedure are being carried out against the three suspects," the statement added.
