Oman weather: More rain over the Sultanate

Muscat: Parts of the Sultanate witnessed heavy rains yesterday, and meteorologists expect more rain today.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said in a weather forecast for Friday: "Chances of cloud formation and rainfall associated with thunderstorms sometimes accompanied by active winds at Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas during the afternoon. ”

In general, the weather will be partly cloudy on the coastal areas of Dhofar and neighboring mountains and clear over the rest of the Sultanate.

Temperatures in Muscat Governorate are likely to be 33 degrees Celsius and in Salalah 26 degrees. The highest temperature is expected to be 41 degrees in the wilayats of Al Buraimi, Ibri, Haima and Fahud and the lowest temperature is 16 degrees in Jabal Shams.
