Omanis in South India safe: Oman Embassy in India

Muscat: Oman's Embassy in Mumbai, India, has announced that Omanis in India are safe and their situation is being monitored as parts of southern India, like Kerala and Karnataka, are hit by torrential rainfall and flooding.

A statement by the Embassy read: "The embassy and the consulate in Mumbai are following the continual developments regarding the weather conditions in the Indian state of Kerala."

"We reassure everyone that the Omani citizens who are currnetly in effected areas are safe and in good health," the statement added.
