Omani Haj Mission leaves for Saudi Arabia

Muscat: The Omani Haj Mission of AH 1440 left yesterday for the sacred lands in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to perform its duties in the management of pilgrimage affairs.
This year’s mission is headed by Sultan bin Said Al Hinai, Director-General of Preaching and Guidance, with the participation of a number of delegations from various authorities in the Sultanate.
The head of the mission affirmed that Omani Haj Mission has completed all travel procedures and permits for 14,000 pilgrims. He appreciated the fruitful cooperation made by various competent authorities in the KSA to facilitate the completion of travel requirements of pilgrims in the Sultanate.
The mission was seen off at Muscat International Airport by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud al-Siyabi, Secretary General at the Office of the Sultanate’s Grand Mufti.
