Islamabad: Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday invited businessmen and investors in the US to benefit from business and economic opportunities in his country.
According to Pakistan's ruling party, Khan made the comments during a meeting with a group of business leaders and investors at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC.
Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) reported on their official twitter account that Khan "invited businessmen and investors to benefit from the economic and business opportunities afforded by Pakistan's strategic location and the connectivity to the broader region."
The PTI also posted that the investors "appreciated the improved security environment in Pakistan and identified areas of interest with regard to investment in key sectors including energy and tourism."
Khan is currently in the US on a three-day working visit.
