Atyab's customer base rises to 4,500

Muscat: Atyab Food Industries said that the number of products produced in its factory has touched 300. Currently the company has 4,500 customers, of which 3,000 are in Oman and the remaining 1,500 are clients from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The total daily production of various types of food items is 66 tonnes.
Atyab, a division of Oman Flour Mills, is a subsidiary of Oman Food Investment Company, due to its high-quality products has attracted several international food brands and includes McDonald's, Kentucky, Hardee’s, Burger King, Costa Coffee and Starbucks.
Salim Bin Hamad Al Hadhrami, Manager of Sales at Atyab Food Industries, said: "Atyab is the largest production plant of baked items in the Sultanate and satisfies the needs of the Omani market of different types of baked products, including frozen and fresh items."
The factory is situated in an area of 60,000 square metres and it supplied supplied food products to government organisations such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Defence, Oman Air, major catering companies and all hypermarket markets and fast food chains, he said, adding that the factory is also exporting its products to the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
