Djokovic beats Federer in epic Wimbledon final

London: Novak Djokovic has won his fifth Wimbledon title in an instant classic, defeating Roger Federer 7-6(5), 1-6, 7-6(4), 4-6, 13-12(3)
The two legendary tennis players were hard to separate, and the victory is as much one of resilience and stamina as it is of skill and ability.
Of the many sets that did take place between the two, three went to a tie break.
The first set between Djokovic and Federer was ultimately won by the Serb when he won the first tie-breaker set 7-5 to edge the first set 7-6. However, Federer came storming back for the second, demolishing his opponent 6-1.
The match seemed to ebb and flow between the two players, and the two needed another tiebreaker to be separated...one that the Djoker ultimately won when he beat Federer 7-4 to once again the edge the third set 7-6.
Federer again, however, came roaring back to win the fourth set 6-4. Not for nothing is the 37-year-old Swiss one of the best players in the history of the game.
Incredibly, the 5th set also went to five-all, before Djokovic made it 7-5 and the Swiss legend pulled it back to 7-6, before making it 8-7. In the end, after that set finished 12-all, it was Djokovic who won the final tiebreaker set 6-3.
