Illegal street vendors arrested in Oman

Muscat: The Muscat Municipality arrested a number of street vendors in Seeb for selling items without a licence.

In a statement issued online, Muscat Municipality said: "In its framework to reduce negative phenomena and random sales in wilayat streets, the Urban Inspection and Health Affairs departments of the General Directorate of the municipality in Seeb conducted a campaign to control street vendors and confiscated the materials they were selling."
