New route announced by Mwasalat

Muscat: Oman's national transport company Mwasalat has launched a new route from Al Mabaila to Burj Al Sahwa.

Journeys on Route 10 will begin from Friday, 28 September, as part of the company's plan to expand the public transport network in the Muscat Governorate.

The route will start from Al Mabaila station, passing through Al Sharadi, Al Seeb Police Station, Al Seeb Market, Al Adiyat Street, Al Rawda roundabout, Al Nakhil street, Al Hail North, Al Ishraq Roundabout, Al Mawalih North, Tameer Street, South Mawalih Market, Mawalih Market, Burj Al Sahwa and Al Mawalih. The bus then returns along the same route.

Mwasalat will operate the new route as a round trip with buses every 20 minutes from 6 am on weekdays and public holidays. Passengers can purchase tickets on board the bus.

Passengers coming from Ruwi on Route 1 can disembark at Burj Al Sahwa or Al Mawalih and take the bus on Route 10 if they want to go to Al Seeb market or any other stop along the route.

Those arriving from Al Khuwair on Route 8 can disembark at the North Mawalih Station or Al Ishraq roundabout and then take the bus on route 10 and head to Al Seeb Market or any other stop on the new route.

Special priority seats for families, women and those with disabilities are available on board all buses, as is free Wi-Fi.
