PACP helps in replacing customer’s defective car

Oman’s consumer protection watchdog was able to solve a customer’s complaint by replacing a faulty vehicle with a brand new one.
According to government officials, the Public Authority for Consumer Protection reached a friendly deal with both the consumer and car agency.
“A consumer submitted a complaint to the Consumer Protection Department in Sur that he wants to replace his new vehicle he bought for OMR16,000 from a car agency. After using it, he noticed that there was a sound emanating from the wheel drum.” - Public Authority for Consumer Protection
Officials added that the vehicle would be replaced by another new vehicle with the same specifications
