Muscat: The Al Nahda Hospital launched a health awareness campaign at the Salalah International Airport recently.
According to Dr. Manal Al Rawas, Head of Health Education and Initiatives, the campaign aims at creating a safe and healthy environment for travellers.
The campaign will go on for two days at the Salalah Airport Arrivals’ Hall.

“We also talk about how important] preventive measures are to combat infection, stressing on the importance of washing hands. The campaign also informs people about medical tests to check blood pressure and diabetes, as well as the distribution of health education leaflets,” Al Ghamari added.
Salem Al Yafei, Executive Vice President of Salalah Airport, said: “There is no doubt that such health education for the public, whether tourists, citizens or airport users has a great impact on providing health information. We believe that the local community is in dire need of such awareness-raising initiatives.”
