Oman’s national airline Oman Air has halted its 2019 expansion plans following the grounding of its five 737 Max aircraft, ONA reported on Friday.
“The company’s expansion plans for the year 2019 have been halted due to the suspension of our five 737-Max aircraft and also the non-delivery of additional three 737-Max jets that were scheduled to enter the service.” Oman News Agency (ONA), quoting Oman Air’s CEO Abdulaziz Al Raisi

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) indicated on Wednesday that Boeing’s 737 Max planes could be out of action for even longer than expected.

Airlines worldwide grounded all their fleet following the fatal crash of an Ethiopian Airlines plane that killed 157 people on board.
