Omani ship rescues Indian crew onboard stalled vessel

The Indian crew of a vessel, which was stalled due to engine damage near the coast of Dhofar governorate, was rescued by an Omani ship.

This was reported by the Oman News Agency.

According to the ONA, the Royal Oman Sea Vessel Sadah, in coordination with the Maritime Security Center, carried out a rescue operation.

It was done to save the Indian crew of a vessel that was subjected to technical malfunction in the engines.

The ship was also taking on water which was affecting the engines as well.
