Citizen rescued after falling from mountain in Oman

Muscat: A citizen was transported to a hospital after falling off a mountain in Al Amerat, the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.
According to the authorities, due to the location of the mountain, police helicopters were used to reach the injured person.
In a statement online, PACDA said: "The rescue team from the Department of Civil Defence and Ambulance in Muscat responded to a report of a citizen who fell from one of the mountains in wilayat Al Amerat.”
PACDA added, "Due to the difficulty in reaching the location, the police aviation was used. Emergency medical care was provided to him and he was transferred to the hospital due to a moderate injury.”
