Oman condemns Iran terror attack

Muscat: The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement condemning a terror attack that has taken place in Iran and reaffirming the Sultanate's position on violence.

In a statement posted online, the ministry said "the Sultanate strongly condemns the armed terrorist attack that was carried out on a military parade in the city of Ahwaz, southwest of Iran, which killed 29 people, including civilians, and wounded 57 others.”

The statement stressed the Sultanate's position “rejecting all forms of terrorism and violence at any time and in any place, whatever the reasons and justifications.”
