Two fires break out in Oman

Muscat: Fire brigades have battled two fires that broke out in the governorates of South Al Batinah and Al Dhahirah.

Fire fighters from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in South Al Batinah extinguished a fire that broke out in Barka, without any injuries taking place.

According to PACDA, the fire "broke out in an electrical complex in the industrial area of the wilayat of Barka."

No information was provided as to the cause of the fire, however the authorities revealed that "no injuries were recorded."

Elsewhere, firefighters battled a blaze in Al Dhahirah.

"Firefighters from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Al Dhahirah put out a fire that broke out at a mosque in Al Saadah in the wilyat of Ibri. No injuries were reported."
