CEBI to host major Open House on Wednesday

Muscat: The Centre for Entrepreneurship & Business Incubation (CEBI), a unit of Modern College of Business & Science (MCBS), is all set to host an open house focusing on entrepreneurial perspective development among youth in Oman. The event would be held on October 10, 2018, (Wednesday) at Hotel Grand Millennium, Muscat, between 8:30am and 1:30pm.
Renowned International thought leader, mentor and entrepreneur, Ravinder Bhan, will lead the open house. Bhan possesses 30 years of experience and exposure in the industrial field spread across Asia, Middle East & North America (Mena). This programme is specially tailored for college students / graduates seeking employment or those keen to start their own business and working professionals looking for managerial roles in Oman. There is no entrance fee for this event, but candidates would be allowed on registration only. This would be followed by a three-day workshop from November 5 to 7, 2018, at Hotel Grand Millennium, Muscat. The workshop aims at developing entrepreneurial perspective and building competent entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs.
Dr Ahmed Al Naamany, Dean of MCBS, emphasised the need for academic institutions to shoulder the responsibility of training and developing the students, so that they not only become work-ready but can also generate new ideas and transform businesses. “The need of the hour is to develop entrepreneurial perspective and competencies among the youth in Oman, which can pave the way for more job creation and economic diversification” said Raihan Taqui Syed, Director, CEBI.
