Indian expats can air labour woes at open house in Oman this month

Muscat: Indian expats can air their labour woes at the open house that is being hosted by India’s ambassador to Oman, Shri Munu Mahawar. The event will be held on Friday, September 21 at the Indian embassy in Muscat, officials have announced.

This open house is being hosted to help address any urgent labour and consular issues that Indian nationals are facing in Oman.

A statement from the Indian embassy read, “As per the practice, next open house to be chaired by Ambassador will be held at the Indian Embassy premises, on 21 September, 2018, from 2:30 pm. This is being done to enable Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) living in Oman to seek redressal of their grievances and to raise any matters related to their welfare.”
