Tenders worth OMR35mn awarded in Oman

Muscat: The Tender Board has awarded contracts worth more than OMR35 million. This came at the Board’s fifth meeting for the year chaired by Dr Rashid bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, chairman of the Tender Board.
The total value of projects awarded stood at OMR35,170,977.
The most important projects included supply of medicines, vaccines and serums for the Ministry of Health, supply of surgery consumables, supply of printing papers for Oman Establishment for Press Publication and Advertising, ground preparation and levelling of camel track at Al Haram in the Governorate of South Batinah for the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Also tenders for additional work awarded related to Consultancy Services for supervising the dualisation of Barka-Nakhal Road in Governorate of South Batinah, additional works for the project of designing and construction works for protections on Sur-Qurayyat Road, additional works for the project of the construction of internal roads at Al Aflaj in the Governorate of North Sharqyia and the additional works for Consultancy Services for supervising the project of designing and construction of Saih Qatna Road at Jebel Akhdar were also among the tenders awarded.
During the meeting, the Tender Board also discussed number of topics related to tenders and additional works complementary to the development projects.
